Merge Claims Not Working

Occasionally you may be unable to merge two claims due to a few potential reasons:

  • You do not have Standard permissions or higher
  • The claims are too far apart in age (60 days or more)
  • One or both of the claims have multiple structures
  • Mismatching disposition lists, box type lists, or moisture meter lists in use
  • The claims belong to separate organizations
  • Your org does not own the claim. If the claim was shared from outside your org - you need “claim ownership” to be able to merge (ownership of the claim can be transferred by the org that created the claim)
