Creating a Report (Mobile App)

Watch the video below to learn how you can quickly and easily create a comprehensive job report in the mobile app.

This article focuses on creating PDF reports. Be sure to check out our Contents in the Field course to learn more about Excel Reports.

Creating a PDF Report

  1. Open the claim and select Documents.
  2. Tap Generate Report.
  3. PDF and Excel are the two available document types. Tap PDF Report.
  4. You will see a list of available report templates. The Encircle PDF Report at the top of the list is a comprehensive, general report widely used by Encircle's customer base.
  5. On the next screen, there are quick selections for the information you want to include in the report:
    • Everything
    • Structure Only
    • Specific Rooms
    • Contents Only
    • Contents by Disposition
    • Nothing Selected
  6. For an all-inclusive report, select Everything. This will include all job data, including room and contents photos, notes, floor plans, dry logs, etc.
  7. Next, fill out the required fields in the report template. Enter a Report Title and Description to explain the contents of the report.
  8. Tap Attach Optional Cover Photo if you would like to include one. We recommend using a photo of the front of the property. If you have an existing photo in the claim:
    1. Tap Gallery
    2. Select Pick Existing Photo
    3. Choose a photo
  9. Under Edit Report Contents, you have control over what data from the claim you would like to include. If the claim has internal notes that are only for your team, you can deselect them here. Click Save to submit the selections.
  10. Tap Attach Documents to add forms and other uploads to the report.
  11. Update the remaining report fields:
    • Table of Contents: Helpful for the recipient of the report.
    • Show Media Timestamp: Selected by default, this will display the timestamp of when photos and videos were taken.
    • Show Psychrometrics & Drying Information: If you have moisture data on the claim, select Yes under the dropdown to attach your dry logs.
    • Email Friendly: For a large report with hundreds or thousands of photos, select Yes to compress the report.
  12. Once everything is ready, tap Save to generate the report. You'll receive an in-app notification when the report is done processing.
  13. The report will be under the Documents tab. Tap the report for the following options:
    • Rename PDF
    • Edit Document
    • Email to Policyholder
    • Send via...
    • Delete Document
