Link Text Now Shows Address Info

When sending a Link via text message, the site address will now show on the Link text previews. This will make it easier for sub-trades to know which link to click on for capturing photos.

To enable text message previews on your device see below.


IOS Devices (iPhone)

For IOS users add the phone number that sends the link to you as a contact on your phone. 

To Add Contacts From Messages
  1. Open Messages.
  2. Tap Info (letter "i" in a blue circle) on the top right corner.
  3. Tap the unsaved phone number.
  4. Then tap Create New Contact.
  5. Add at least the Name (1) and Phone number (2) of a contact. Tap Done (3) in the top right corner to save the information.

Android Users

Be sure to enable text message previews on your device.

  1. From the settings area tap Apps.
  2. Tap Messages.
  3. Tap the Gear icon. ...
  4. Tap More Settings.
  5. Tap the Show web previews switch to turn on.

Android users may have to add the phone number sending Link as a contact.

To Add Contacts From Messages
  1. Open Messages.
  2. Find a conversation that shows an unsaved number instead of a contact name.
  3. Tap and hold that phone number to select it then tap Add Contact at the top.
  4. Tap Add Contact to confirm.
  5. Then tap Create new contact.
  6. Tap in each labeled area to type in the contact's details., as needed.
