What are "Visits"?
A "visit" is exactly what it sounds like; a trip to the job site to inspect & set up equipment or monitor & take daily readings.
For each new "visit", a task list is generated to ensure the necessary work is being completed with each trip out to the job site.
The initial visit is referred to as "Job Setup" in Hydro. The Job Setup task list has more tasks, as Day 1 requires more leg work. This includes tasks like identifying the source of loss, setting up drying chambers, taking dry standards, moisture mapping, equipment sizing, and so on. The task list can be customized to suit your org's preferred process.
After the Day 1 Job Setup is complete, subsequent visits are labeled "Visit 1", "Visit 2", "Visit 3", and so on - exactly as you would expect. These visits have a reduced task list where you are only required to log readings.
You will be prompted to mark each visit as "complete" once all the required tasks are done.
Why edit a previous visit?
Perhaps you took your readings down by hand yesterday and you need to go into the app and enter them retroactively. Or perhaps your team didn’t do equipment calculations during job setup, and you want to do that now. Perhaps you need to edit a reading from a previous visit or update something in the job setup like class of water or drying chamber tolerances.
There are numerous reasons you might want to add or edit data to a visit at any time during the job cycle, and you need the flexibility to do that.
How to Edit a Visit
